Selva Pacifica

Established in 2014, Selva Pacifica represents an important chapter in the development history of Paradise Homes Costa Rica. Set across approximately 16 hectares in the hills of Uvita, the private residential community was thoughtfully planned as just 11 homesites, allowing for generous properties, privacy, and a strong connection to the surrounding tropical landscape.

Paradise Homes Costa Rica was responsible for the development of Selva Pacifica from the ground up, including the planning of the community, homesites, roads, water system, access, and essential infrastructure. Sales and marketing for the development were handled in collaboration with Coldwell Banker.

PHCR went on to design and construct the first five residences within Selva Pacifica. Each home was individually designed for its site and owner, taking advantage of the property’s ocean, mountain, and jungle views while responding to Costa Rica’s tropical climate and terrain. Other property owners later developed their homesites independently with other builders, creating a diverse collection of private residences within the community.

Rather than maximizing density, Selva Pacifica was conceived around space, privacy, and the natural environment. Its estate-sized homesites allowed architecture to work with the contours of the land and preserve the sense of living within Costa Rica’s rainforest while remaining conveniently connected to Uvita and the Southern Pacific coast.

Selva Pacifica demonstrates the breadth of Paradise Homes Costa Rica’s capabilities beyond individual custom homes—from raw land and infrastructure development to community planning, architectural design, and construction.
