Established in 2019, Bella Vista Estates is an exclusive gated residential enclave developed by Paradise Homes Costa Rica in the mountains of Escaleras, above Playa Dominicalito on Costa Rica’s Southern Pacific coast.

 

Conceived as an exceptionally private community of just six residences, Bella Vista was master planned around the site’s extraordinary elevation, dramatic Pacific Ocean views, cooling mountain breezes, and surrounding tropical landscape.

 

Paradise Homes Costa Rica was responsible for the development of the community from the ground up. PHCR completed the roads, drainage, electrical systems, and supporting infrastructure required to transform the property into a fully serviced luxury residential enclave. Sales and marketing for the development were handled through Coldwell Banker.

 

Unlike a traditional residential development based around repeating a single architectural model, each Bella Vista residence is individually designed for its particular homesite, orientation, views, and owner. The result is a collection of distinctive residences connected by a shared philosophy of contemporary tropical architecture, privacy, expansive indoor-outdoor living, and a strong relationship with the natural environment.

 

Paradise Homes Costa Rica is responsible for the architectural design and construction of the residences within the development. To date, three of the six homes have been completed, including the recently completed Casa Aira, one of PHCR’s newest luxury residences.

 

The homes incorporate expansive glazing, open living spaces, generous covered terraces, pools, and carefully framed views that allow the architecture to remain continuously connected to the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest.

 

With only six residences across the entire development, Bella Vista Estates represents PHCR’s evolution toward an increasingly private and highly individualized approach to luxury residential development—combining land planning, infrastructure, architecture, interior design, and construction within one integrated vision.

 

Today, with three residences completed and three remaining, Bella Vista continues to evolve as a collection of architecturally distinct homes in one of Costa Rica’s most remarkable coastal settings.
